I had an unconventional childhood. I lived with my mother, uncle and grandmother, a woman who had clearly defined opinions and an idiom for every situation. Home is more than physical spaces, it is the people and the comfort of rituals. Here I am post PhD and I am painting from the heart, for the joy and leaning into my quirky sense of fun. These paintings represent home in the form of sayings and memories.
